To commemorate the dedication and service of military veterans, as well as Syracuse University’s proud tradition of supporting veterans through education since World War II, SU is inviting members and guests of the campus to a special reception in the Panasci Lounge, located in the Schine Student Center, on Thursday, Nov. 11, as part of the inaugural Veterans Day ceremony and activity that will take place on campus.
As part of the reception, which begins immediately following an 11 a.m. ceremony in Hendricks Chapel, guests will be provided a casual lunch and will have an opportunity to view the displays in Panasci Lounge that pay tribute to current U.S. servicemen and women, and veterans that are a proud part of SU.
The reception is free, but individuals need to RSVP by Wednesday, Nov. 3 to https://secure.www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/SYR/event/showEventForm.jsp?form_id=63335, or by calling 315-443-2462. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
