Gallery director, curator Laura Blereau to present lecture Sept. 21
Laura Blereau, curator and director of bitforms gallery in New York City, will present a lecture on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in Shemin Auditorium in the Dorothea Ilgen Shaffer Art Building. The lecture is sponsored by the Department of Art in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ (VPA) School of Art and Design.
bitforms, which is devoted to new media artwork, represents such artists as Daniel Canogar, U-Ram Choe, R. Luke DuBois, Michael Joaquin Grey, Claudia Hart, Lynn Hershman, Yael Kanarek, Tim Knowles, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Manfred Mohr, Michael Najjar, Mark Napier, Daniel Rozin, Lincoln Schatz and Björn Schülke.
