Eagle Newspaper reported on the Near Westside Initiative and Connective Corridor project “A Love Letter to Syracuse,” which is transforming the gateway area of the Near Westside with a public art project on West Fayette and West streets.

UPSTATE, a center for design and research within SU’s School of  Architecture, and its director, Julia Czerniak, were highlighted in Sean Kirst’s Post-Standard column for efforts involving the rejuvenation of downtown Syracuse.

SU is mentioned in a Post-Standard editorial on a new bill that would require the archival preservation of governors’ records.

The Post-Standard reported that Say Yes to Education will create the new position of operating director to oversee Syracuse’s program locally.

SU’s Project Advance is mentioned in the Oneida Dispatch; the Stockbridge Valley Central School District is offering two Project Advance courses in history to its students.
