Local and regional coverage of yesterday’s arrival of Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid vehicles at the SyracuseCoE for the Clean Communities of CNY demonstration program includes reports by Your News Now (YNN) and articles in the Sun Herald (Biloxi, Miss.) and Post-Standard. Maarten Jacobs, director of the Near Westside Initiative, was interviewed on the WCNY “Central Issues” program about economic and residential developments in the neighborhood, including ProLiteracy’s move and SALT District events. Jacobs also discussed the Neighborhood Block Party planned for today at Skiddy Park.
Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in a New York Times News Service article on American ensemble movies and in a Chicago Daily Herald story about a potential switch for former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich into a media career.
