Wired magazine reported on the MOB (Monetizing Online Business) Conference, hosted by the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Syracuse.com reported on a BusinessWeek report that ranks colleges and universities according to the long-term worth of an institution’s degree.

FACULTY QUOTES

Menachem Z. Rosensaft, distinguished visiting lecturer at Syracuse University College of Law, authored a Washington Post “On Faith” column on religious tolerance in Morocco.

William Banks, Board of Advisors Distinguished Professor and director of the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism in the College of Law and the Maxwell School, is quoted in a Bloomberg news story on federal agents arresting 10 alleged members of a Russian spy ring.

Rick Burton, David B. Falk Professor of Sport Management in the College of Human Ecology, commented in a Bloomberg news story on the franchise value of Cleveland Cavalier’s star LeBron James.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in the Florida Sun-Sentinel on LeBron James and NBA free agency. He also spoke with Washington, D.C.’s WTOP-AM (listen to audio clip) about Larry King’s retirement from his nightly interview program.

Keith Bybee, the Paul E. and Hon. Joanne F. Alper ‘72 Judiciary Studies Professor at the College of Law and director of the Institute for the Study of the Judiciary, Politics and the Media, was interviewed by WAUB radio in Auburn about the U.S. Supreme Court and the cigarette tax dispute between the Cayuga Indian Nation of New York and Seneca and Cayuga counties.
