The Post & Courier (Charleston, S.C.) featured the efforts of Goldring Arts journalists to create a special live Twitter feed from the Spoleto Festival USA.

The Orange County Register reported on the appointment of Larry Kramer, visiting professor in the Newhouse School, to the board of directors for Freedom Communications.

The Boston Globe and other Boston-area media provided an update on Marinna Khon, a recent iSchool graduate who was swept away by a rip current last week.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in the Cleveland Plain Dealer on NBA star LeBron James’ free agency as a media spectacle. He also commented in the North Jersey Newspapers on the social networking tool Formspring.
