McCormick Installed as CNY Women’s Bar Association president
Heidi White McCormick L’04 was sworn in as the president of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association (CNYWBA) at an evening ceremony June 1 in Syracuse. She begins a one-year term with CNYWBA, and has previously held positions of president-elect, vice president, director at-large, and chair of the CNYWBA Pro Bono Practice Committee.
McCormick currently serves as the executive director of the Family Law and Social Policy Center at Syracuse University College of Law.
Prior to joining the College of Law, she worked as one of 25 national AmeriCorps/Equal Justice Works attorneys for Legal Assistance of Western New York where she developed and implemented a pro bono program for law students.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College and a juris doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
