Research by Laurence Nafie, professor emeritus of chemistry in The College of Arts and Sciences, on using VDC spectroscopy as an alternative method of determining absolute configuration of chiral molecules is featured on Scientist Live.

A brief report in the Sacramento Bee on California’s immigration hearing backlog cites statistics from Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC).

The Associated Press, Boston Globe, Boston Herald, several Boston-area television and radio stations including NECN, WCVB-TV, and WBZ-AM, and other regional and local media reported on the loss of a recent SU graduate swept out to sea in strong currents off Newburyport, Mass.
