An article on the future of academic libraries in the Library Journal mentions the Syracuse University Library and quotes Vice Chancellor and Provost Eric Spina and Kal Alston, associate provost for academic affairs and professor of cultural foundations of education in the School of Education. The Association of College and Research Libraries’ appointment of Megan Oakleaf, assistant professor in the School of Information Studies (iSchool), to lead an investigation measuring the value of academic libraries, was also noted.
A Post-Standard story on today’s Law Day ceremonies held by the Onondaga County Bar Association mentions Tom Hadlick, executive director of the WorkKeys program at SU, as a nominator of honoree Joseph Vargo.
