“On My Own Time” registration deadline extended to April 16
“On My Own Time” is an opportunity for SU employees to share their artistic talents and creativity in a variety of media categories with the campus and larger community. The deadline to register has been extended to Friday, April 16, 2010. Registered artists will need to deliver their artwork to the small chapel of Hendricks Chapel between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 29. The juried in-house show will open on Friday, April 30 and run through Thursday, May 20 in the Noble Room of Hendricks Chapel.
On My Own Time (OMOT) was developed as a community arts program that brings visibility to the creative skills of people employed in local businesses. SU is excited to participate in the 37th year of OMOT, a creation of the Cultural Resources Council and Onondaga County, in cooperation with the Everson Museum of Art.
Registration forms and specific details are available online. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the event should contact either Katherine Bloomer-Calabria in the Office of Human Resources at 443-2488 or Linda Pitonzo in the Office of the Chancellor at 443-5235.
