SU NEWS AND EVENTS COVERAGE

The Albany Times Union reported on the date set for the memorial service for Jamie Klemczak, an SU student who died on Feb. 20 in a motor vehicle accident on the New York State Thruway in Herkimer County.

Damani Musgrave, assistant director of technical systems & services at SU, is quoted in a WSYR-TV report on a digital access event with children at the Martin Luther King School.

Works by College of Visual and Performing Arts faculty and staff members Yvonne Buchanan, Susan D’Amato, Mary Giehl, Donalee Peden Wesley, and Arjan Zazueta are reviewed in a Syracuse New Times article on the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute’s “62nd Annual Exhibition of Central New York Artists.” Also mentioned is alumna Susan Stoops, the show’s juror and curator.

FACULTY QUOTES

Douglas Brode, adjunct professor of television, radio and film in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in a CNN feature on movie producer Tyler Perry.

Ellen deLara, associate professor in the School of Social Work, was interviewed by KTSA-AM (San Antonio, Tex.) on the suicide of Phoebe Prince in Massachusetts and the connection of bullying to suicide.
