2010 summer parking upgrade information

Friday, March 26, 2010, By News Staff
Share

Summer upgrades for 2010 will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to be considered for an upgrade, you must email Cheri Robillard, cmrobill@syr.edu no sooner than April 15th at 12:01 a.m. All requests will be processed in the order in which they are received. Any requests received before the above mentioned date will be considered void and discarded without notification. Please include your current plate, make, model, color, and year of vehicle at the time of request.

Due to construction and road closures only a limited number of spaces in the following lots/garages will be available; Booth Garage, Hillside, Irving Garage, Ostrom, Q1, Q4, Raynor, Shaw, and University Ave Garage. You will be asked to re-locate for short periods of time if general maintenance needs to be performed at the location you have upgraded to.

Those looking to upgrade to a Quad lot will need 5 years of service with the University to qualify. Meeting the qualification does not guarantee a space.

Only individuals who currently have a valid 2009-10 permit are eligible to upgrade.

The upgrade fee is $25.00 for surface lots and $30.00 for garages plus an additional $40.00 refundable fee for prox cards for secure areas. Citations and upgrade fees must be paid in full by check or credit card before the permit will be issued. Spaces cannot be held for any reason.
