SU NEWS AND EVENTS COVERAGE

Gary Radke, professor of fine arts in The College of Arts and Sciences, is mentioned in an Antiques Trade Gazette article on the upcoming exhibition in Sweden of Renaissance artwork, including some recently reattributed to Leonardo da Vinci.

The National Law Journal cited research from Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) in an article on judicial vacancies and the backlog of cases in the nation’s immigration courts.

ABC News on Campus included comments from SU students in a story on the costs of preparing for spring break.

Sean Kirst’s Post-Standard column featured the planned production of a John Malkovich film, co-written by Owen Shapiro, film professor in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, at the Hotel Syracuse.

The Syracuse Say Yes program was featured in the Post-Standard’s “College Choices” supplement. Dean of Admissions Susan Donovan was also quoted on how college applicants can improve their application.

FACULTY QUOTES

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, appeared on ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” (view clip) and was quoted in Thaindian News on Tiger Woods’ return to golf.

Larry Kramer ‘72, visiting professor and advisory board member in the Newhouse School, was featured in Wall Street Cheat Sheet about the future of the media business.

Menachem Z. Rosensaft, distinguished visiting lecturer at Syracuse University College of Law, authored a Washington Post “On Faith” column on Menachem Youlus’ “Save a Torah, Inc.” organization.

Rick Burton, David B. Falk Professor of Sport Management in the College of Human Ecology, was quoted in Associated Press, Newsoxy, Sport Business and McClatchy News articles on Tiger Woods and his intent to play at the Masters.
