Theophilus London announced as special guest for Miike Snow
Theophilus London is the new special guest for the Bandersnatch Music Series concert featuring Miike Snow on Tuesday, March 30, at 8 p.m. in the Schine Underground (doors open at 7:30 p.m.). Tickets are available at the Schine Box Office (315-443-4517) and online at http://students.syr.edu/boxoffice/. Tickets are $5 for Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry students with a valid student I.D. and $10 for faculty/staff and the general public (18+).
London is a New York City-based electronic and hip hop rapper. He released “Jam!,” his first mixtape, in 2008 followed by “This Charming Mixtape” in April 2009. Last.fm described it as “a confluence of The Smiths and Elvis Costello.” Complex Magazine ranked “This Charming Mixtape” as the #21 Best Album of 2009. London was also featured in New Musical Express (NME)’s Radar Issue as an artist on the rise and released a video for his single “Humdrum Town” in January. In a week, the 21-year-old will head to SXSW in Austin, Texas, to perform before coming to Syracuse.
