Syracuse.com , WSYR-TV and WSYR-AM reported that Syracuse University students studying in Chile through SU Abroad were safe following the earthquake in that country.

The March dedication of SyracuseCoE headquarters is mentioned in a Boston Globe article on personal environmental controls and H. Ezzat Khalifa, NYSTAR Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, is quoted.

Pierre Yourougou, visiting associate professor of finance in the Whitman School of Management, is quoted in Global Finance magazine on global business and investments in sub-Saharan Africa.

Boyce Watkins, assistant professor of finance in the Whitman School, commented in a CNN “Anderson Cooper 360″ story on the shortage of family doctors in the American healthcare system.
