The inaugural show, which is sponsored by the Paul Greenberg Family, is free and open to the public.

“SU in DC” features 18 artists who work in such media as photography, pastel, textile and handmade paper. Many of the artists are based in the Washington, D.C. area. The show is curated by Tim Davis, owner of International Visions.

Artists in the exhibition include Sandra Alpert ’45; K. Simmons ’59; Michael Singletary ’72; Michelle Singletary ’73; and Helen Zughaib ’81.

“We have many talented members of the Syracuse community, and we had the opportunity to engage with a local gallery to curate the show,” says Ann Donahue Yockey G’83, executive director of regional operations for Greater Washington. “We are thrilled to present this first of many opportunities to showcase the remarkable achievements of our talented alumni, parents, faculty and staff.”

International Visions is open Wednesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; and by appointment by calling (202) 234-5112. For more information, visit http://www.inter-visions.com.
