SU’s Green Data Center is mentioned in a TreeHugger article relating the size and scale of the Internet and global use of digital information to data energy consumption worldwide.

A U.S. News & World Report blog mentioned Syracuse University in an article on Amazon.com’s announcement that it will add two features to make the Kindle e-reader more accessible to the visually impaired.

FACULTY QUOTES

Leonard Burman, Daniel Patrick Moynihan Professor of Public Affairs in the Maxwell School, is quoted in a New York Times article on federal debt and value-added taxes, and spoke with American Public Media’s “Marketplace” about payroll taxes.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in a Mediabistro column on George Stephanopoulos’ move to “Good Morning America.”
