Orange Orators Toastmasters Holiday Auction to be held Tuesday

Orange Orators Toastmasters is a public speaking group and this event will highlight the impromptu speaking role of Table Topics – but with a fun twist. Participants will practice their speaking skills while auctioning off various items, including such items as a Starbucks coupon, a gift basket of coffees, Blenko hand blown glass dish, candles, candlestick, SU mug, basket of teas, basket of candles, M&M cookie jar, and two certificates – one each entitling the winner to a bread making and pie making lesson in their own home (ingredients and equipment included). This is an easy way to combine learning a little about Toastmasters, having some fun, and finding a few holiday presents. Refreshments will be served. Open to the public and SU community. Join us on Tuesday, December 8 12-1 pm in E.S. Bird Library’s Peter Graham Scholarly Commons Room.
