Mike Haynie, assistant professor of entrepreneurship in the Whitman School and founder of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), was quoted in a Fox Business article on returning war veterans and small businesses. EBV graduates were also featured in a related Fox Small Business Center story.
Douglas Biklen, dean of the Syracuse University School of Education, was interviewed on CBC Radio’s program “The Current” about the case of Rom Houben, the Belgian man who was in a coma for more than 20 years before doctors discovered his comprehension of those around him through neuro-imaging techniques. Biklen and the Facilitated Communication Institute at Syracuse University were also mentioned in a Global News Online article on Houben.
Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I.
