Open Enrollment ends Friday, Nov. 13
Benefits Open Enrollment ends on Friday! All benefits-eligible employees must enroll by November 13 if they want to elect or change benefits for 2010. In the past HR has provided an informal process (formerly called a “makeup period”) after the close of Open Enrollment. This year, the makeup period has been eliminated and there will be no additional opportunity for faculty and staff to make any benefits elections or changes after November 13, 2009.
The benefits you elect will be in effect from January 1 through December 31, 2010 (except for a Delta Dental election which in the first year of election by the employee is for a two-year commitment). Outside the Open Enrollment period, no changes may be made to your benefits except in the case of a qualifying family status change. Take a moment now to visit the Open Enrollment website for details regarding benefits and rates for 2010 and then enroll through MySlice.
