Mehrzad Boroujerdi, director of the Middle Eastern Studies Program in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, was quoted a New York Times article on political disagreement inside Iran about the proposed nuclear deal with the West.

Jason Wiles, assistant professor of biology in The College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in a New York Times story on Islam, evolution and creationism.

The Washington Post, Government Executive magazine, Federal News Radio and WTOP2-DC radio reported on Monday’s Maxwell School presentation by John Berry, director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, was quoted in Politico on the “Joy Behar Show” on cable television’s HLN network and in the Financial Times Deutschland on media hoaxes and the news industry.

Nancy Snow, associate professor in the Newhouse School, wrote a Huffington Post column on Mikhail Gorbachev, Ronald Reagan, public diplomacy and the reunification of Germany.

WAER radio covered the Central New York region’s Progressive Dialogue event at SU’s Warehouse, which focused on the importance of S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education in New York state.

Establishment of the Eric Mower Advertising Forum speaker series in the Newhouse School was noted briefly in the New York Times.
