Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, was interviewed on WTOP radio in Washington, D.C. on the death of comedian Soupy Sales.

Mitchel Wallerstein, dean of the Maxwell School, authored an article for Foreign Affairs (excerpt available) on how strict export restrictions are harming the progress and security of the United States.

The Associated Press quoted Henry Lambright, professor of political science and public administration in the Maxwell School, on future space program explorations.

Boyce Watkins, assistant professor of finance in the Whitman School of Management, commented in ABC News.com on the business of college sports and athlete endorsements.

An op-ed by Ruth V. Small, the Laura J. & L. Douglas Meredith professor in the iSchool, and Marilyn P. Arnone, research associate professor at the iSchool, on the need for students to have information literacy skills and education, appeared in the Post-Standard.

The Post-Standard and WSYR-AM reported on SU’s creation of the Lawrence B. Taishoff Center for Inclusive Higher Education.
