Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, commented on the future of soap operas in a Cleveland Plain Dealer article on the end of “Guiding Light.” He also spoke with WSYR-AM about audience and television network reactions to “The Jay Leno Show” and cable TV programming.

Gary Radke, professor of fine arts in The College of Arts and Sciences, commented in the Los Angeles Times on “Leonardo da Vinci: Hand of the Genius,” an exhibition opening in October at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art.

Leonard Burman, Daniel Patrick Moynihan Professor of Public Affairs in the Maxwell School, was interviewed on News 3 (New Zealand) for a feature on capital gains taxes.

Inside Indiana Business reported Silvio Torres-Saillant, associate professor in The College of Arts and Sciences, is included among participants marking the 10th anniversary of the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Studies.
