Research by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) was cited in a CNN Money article on mortgage fraud prosecutions.

The CNY Speaks Initiative, the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and Gregory Munno, adjunct instructor in the Newhouse School, were featured in a Harvard University Nieman Journalism Lab blog posting about university and media collaboration in reinventing journalism.

Patrick T. Mather, director of the Syracuse Biomaterials Institute and Milton and Ann Stevenson Professor of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering in the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, was quoted in a Reuters news article on hydrogel mats used to extend anti-infection properties of silver nitrate with implanted medical devices. Dacheng Ren, assistant professor in LCS, was also mentioned.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture at the Newhouse School, commented in the Christian Science Monitor about the rise of political humor. He also commented in a CBS News story on the merger of Disney and Marvel.

The Post-Standard reported on the student demand for the flu vaccine at an on-campus clinic held yesterday.
