Mehrzad Boroujerdi, director of the Middle Eastern Studies Program in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, was quoted by the Associated Press  in an article on the death of Iraq politician Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim.

Gary Radke, professor of fine arts in The College of Arts and Sciences, was part of an ArtNews (September 2009) feature on Michael Shapiro, the entrepreneurial director of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.

Robert Rabin, professor in the College of Law, was featured in the Spring 2009 issue of Labor and Employment Law, for his work as editor of Labor Lawyer.

Research by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) was cited in the Houston Chronicle in a story on fraudulent immigration documents being presented at the United States/Mexico border.

Dinesh Gauri, assistant professor of marketing at the Whitman School, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal on proposed price increases by Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors.

“Syracuse Welcome” and the return of students to the SU campus were featured today by WSYR-TV.

The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle reported SU student Daniel Biegler winning the Ronald L. Bittner Budding Artist Scholarship at the 2009 Arts in the Garden juried fine arts show and sale at Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion in Canandaigua.
