In light of President Obama’s call to action for universities to use their intellectual capital to reform our schools, cleanse our natural environment, bridge the toxic schisms in our social environment and mobilize our talented youth, Chancellor and President Nancy Cantor thought it appropriate in her yearly address to reflect on SU’s engagement in these pressing issues in the City of Syracuse.

The Chancellor’s address, titled “Remaking America: Universities as Anchor Institutions-the Syracuse Example,” will take place Thursday, March 19, at 4 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.

The Chancellor’s address will include a PowerPoint presentation that will contain photos and limited text. Persons with visual impairments may contact the Office of Disability Services to request an alternate electronic format of the PowerPoint presentation.
