Following the 2008 promotion of Rebecca Stefan Dayton to the position of associate vice president for student affairs-health and wellness, Syracuse University initiated a national search for a new director of the SU Counseling Center.

The search committee has narrowed its field of candidates to: Tanya Bowen, interim director, SU Counseling Center; Timothy L. Davis, psychologist and clinical coordinator at Indiana University; Susan Pasco, associate director, SU Counseling Center; and Cory Wallack, assistant director, SU Counseling Center.

To ensure that the University community has the opportunity to inform the search process, the Division of Student Affairs will host a series of open forums for people to meet and ask questions of the candidates. All four forums will take place from 2:15- 3:15 p.m. in the Whitman School of Management building.

Davis’ forum will take place on Monday, Jan. 26, in Room 306; Pasco will follow on Feb. 2 in Room 306; Wallack will appear on Feb. 4 in Room 402; and Bowen will appear on Feb. 9 in Room 306.

For more information, contact a co-chair of the search committee: Seth Tucker, director of student assistance, at 443-4357, or Colleen Bench, director of the Parents Office, at 443-1200.
