Don Siegel, professor of earth sciences in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, will be interviewed from the Bamboo Garden Chinese Restaurant in Cicero for a segment on National Public Radio’s “Talk of the Nation” program, to air on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, from 2:30-3 p.m. The program airs locally on WRVO-FM (http://www.wrvo.fm/).
Siegel will be interviewed about his book “Lokshen to LoMein: The Jewish Love Affair with Chinese Food” (Gefen Publishing, 2005), which explores the cultural connections between Jews and Chinese food, and which also is a popular kosher-Chinese cookbook.
