Hendricks Chapel’s Office of Community Engagement and Integrative Learning is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Basket Drive through Nov. 16. The baskets will be distributed to families in need in the Syracuse area so that they may enjoy a holiday meal.
Members of the Syracuse University community are invited to prepare a Thanksgiving basket with the following items: potatoes, canned cranberries, canned vegetables, stuffing, Bisquick, juice or other beverage, non-perishable dessert and a gift card for a turkey.
Those planning to prepare a basket should contact Alanna Rosenberg in the Office of Community Engagement and Integrative Learning at email@example.com. Donations may be dropped off in the Hendricks Chapel Noble Room on Friday, Nov. 16. An alternate date or time for drop-off may be arranged through Rosenberg.
