The Beta Alpha Psi Student Chapter in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the Tracy Halpin Memorial Fund. The fundraiser will be held in collaboration with SU’s annual 5K Fun Run on Oct. 27. Registration for the run is free; sales of the Fun Run’s T-shirts and pledges for runners will go toward the Tracy Halpin Memorial Fund. The deadline for ordering T-shirts is Oct. 13.

Tracy Halpin was a Whitman student and the president of Beta Alpha Psi when she unexpectedly passed away during her senior year in 2006. The money raised will go toward the Tracy Halpin Scholarship, which will be awarded to outstanding accounting students in the Whitman School.
