The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a lecture by Peter P. Paoli, vice president of brand management for Philip Morris USA, on Monday, Sept. 10, at 5 p.m. The lecture, “Ethics and Marketing,” will take place in Room 402 of the Whitman School building and is free and open to the public. A reception in the Milton Room will immediately follow.
Paoli joined Philip Morris Companies in 1979, first working as a retail and key account sales associate in the Oscar Mayer Co. He went on to hold a variety of sales, marketing and operations positions within the 7UP Co., culminating with his appointment as manager of national accounts. He became regional manager for Philip Morris in 1987 and has held leadership positions in brand management, marketing infrastructure, sales and strategy. In his current role, Paoli leads Philip Morris’ mission to build effective relationships between the company’s brands and the public.
Paoli holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
