Ciara, Lupe Fiasco, TV on the Radio to headline 2007 Syracuse University Block Party

University Union (UU) has announced that performers Ciara, Lupe Fiasco and TV on the Radio will headline the annual Syracuse University Block Party, Sunday, April 22. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for SU and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) undergraduate and graduate students, $20 for SU faculty and staff and $30 for the general public. The concert is co-sponsored by National Pan-Hellenic Council.

There will be an online ticket presale for SU and ESF students with valid SU or ESF I.D. at http://www.universityunion.org, beginning Friday, April 6, at noon, through Wednesday, April 11, at 5 p.m. Student presale tickets are $15 each, with an additional $2 processing fee. Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are allowed to purchase a total of four tickets each.

SU and ESF student tickets ordered through the online presale must be picked up at the Carrier Dome Box Office, located at Gate B, on April 17 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., April 18 from 8:30 a.m-7 p.m. or April 19 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Valid I.D. is required.

Non presale tickets for SU and ESF students with valid I.D. will go on sale at the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center Box Office April 13 at noon through April 19 at 5 p.m. For more information, contact the Schine Box Office at 443-4517.

Faculty, staff and members of the general public may purchase tickets through the Dome Box Office or Ticketmaster beginning April 13 at noon through April 22. For more information, call the Dome Box Office at 443-2121, Ticketmaster phone charge at 472-0700 or visit Ticketmaster online at http://www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are subject to standard convenience charges.

Audience members must be at least 18 years of age or registered SU or ESF students. No one under the age of 18 will be granted entrance without valid SU or ESF I.D. Parental or legal guardian escorts are not permitted. There will be no re-entry.

Cameras, recording devices and bags will not be allowed. Parking for the event will be located in the West Campus lots for $10.
