Each summer, Syracuse University looks to a group of students to represent the University by working with new students and their families to answer questions, provide information, offer support and share first-hand experiences as college students. The orientation leader program is part of Syracuse Welcome 2007: A Slice of SU Life, the University’s signature new-student orientation program. This year, 26 students have been selected as 2007-08 orientation leaders and will be part of the team that also includes nine mentor orientation leaders who will provide yearlong leadership to SU’s effort to revitalize its class councils, civic engagement initiatives and other programming for students. Syracuse Welcome 2007 will begin Aug. 23.

The 2007-08 orientation leaders team is made up of eight males, 18 females, 11 returning orientation leaders, two transfer students and one international student.
