Students from across Syracuse University are invited to take part in a healthy cooking competition Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Slocum Dining Room (Room 021 of Slocum Hall). The event, a Healthy IM/Healthy Campus Initiative, was organized by students in the College of Human Services and Health Professions (HSHP) Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management.
Participants will assemble in five teams, each of which will receive a tray of food. Teams will be given an hour to create a healthy meal using the food on the tray and will be judged on the meal’s taste and appearance. Each member of the winning team will receive a $25 gift certificate for the Syracuse University Bookstore.
