The College of Human Services and Health Professions (HSHP) at Syracuse University will host nutritionist and alumna Ann Litt ’75 on Oct. 28. She will present “Sports Nutrition” from 10:35-11:30 a.m., in Huntington Beard Crouse Hall’s Gifford Auditorium; and “Eating Well on Campus” with Michelle Gallant ’85, nutritionist with SU Health Services, from 4-5 p.m. at the SU Bookstore. A book signing by Litt will follow the second presentation.
Litt is the nutritionist for the Washington Redskins football team and a nutritionist in private practice in Washington, D.C. She is the author of “The College Student’s Guide to Eating Well on Campus” (Tulip Hill Press, 2000) and “Fuel for Young Athletes”(Human Kinetics Publishers, 2003). She specializes in helping children, teens and young adults develop normal eating habits and maintain a healthy weight.
