VPA graduate painters exhibit works April 23

VPA graduate painters exhibit works April 23April 18, 2005Jaime Winne Alvarez jlwinne@syr.edu

On April 23 from 5-8 p.m., graduate painters in Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts will open their studios to the public and exhibit their works in an open house. The works of eight students, in a variety of media including traditional painting, drawing, sculpture and installation-based work, will be on display in Rooms 415 and 425 on the fourth floor of the Shaffer Art Building. The open house is free and open to the public. Parking is available in paid visitor lots.

Painters whose works will be displayed include Monica Alfonso, Tapati Chowdhury, Brett Eberhardt, Jill Olm, Elena Peteva, Andrew Sullivan, Elijah VanBenschoten and Caroline Youngblood.
