Chris Wall, executive creative director at Ogilvy and Mather, will speak at Syracuse University’s Shemin Auditorium on Oct. 27 at 12:15 p.m. Shemin Auditorium is located in Shaffer Art Building. This event is free and open to the public
A copywriter by trade, Wall has written print, TV and multiple media advertising campaigns that have won many awards, including the Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, CA, Andys, Addys and Effies. His work has appeared in CA, Graphis, the One Show and the Art Director’s Club. He wrote two of Adweek’s “Best Campaign of the Year” campaigns-one for Apple Computer and one for IBM.
Before joining Ogilvy and Mather, Wall worked at BBDO and Wieden & Kennedy. He was a political science and secondary education major at Northwestern University. He is a member of the Global Ogilvy Creative Council.
His lecture is sponsored by the visual communications department in SU’s School of Art and Design.
