Lecturer and author Michael Eric Dyson, who was scheduled to speak at Syracuse University Jan. 25, has cancelled his appearance because of illness. He was to be the keynote speaker at the convocation for the Talented Tenth Leadership Institute, hosted by SU’s African American Male Congress (AAMC). Other Talented Tenth events will proceed as scheduled.
The AAMC and Dyson’s representatives hope to reschedule his appearance for later in the Spring 2004 semester.
