The Syracuse Police Department is seeking information on a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, along the 600 block of Euclid Avenue. Two pedestrians standing alongside a parked car were injured when they were struck by a car traveling westward along Euclid Avenue.
Syracuse University junior Lisa Ellis, 20, was transported to University Hospital in critical condition. Following weekend surgery, she is listed in serious condition in University Hospital’s intensive care unit. A man with whom Ellis was standing was treated for minor injuries and released.
The Syracuse Police Department is looking for a vehicle, possibly a 1989 to 1991 Chevrolet Lumina, Pontiac Grand Prix, or Buick Regal with damage to the passenger side.
“It is very important for anyone who was in the vicinity of the 600 block of Euclid Avenue then or who knows anything about what happened to contact the police,” says SU Senior Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs Barry L. Wells.
Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division can be reached at 442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
