All Washington DC area alumni of Syracuse University, their families and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at SU’s Greenberg House, 2301 Calvert St.,NW, Tuesday, October 9 from 5 to 7 p.m.. This is an opportunity to come together in fellowship after the life-changing events of Sept. 11.
The Rev. Thomas V. Wolfe, dean of Hendrick’s Chapel, will be present to offer spiritual support and lead those assembled in common prayer sensitive to all faiths and traditions. The prayer portion of the gathering will take place at 6:30 p.m.
The previously scheduled SU Alumni Club of Washington Annual Meeting will take place following the memorial gathering, beginning shortly after 7:00 p.m.
Greenberg House is convenient to the Woodley Park – National Zoo – Adams-Morgan stop on the Metro Red Line. Parking is now available across the street.
