Syracuse University’s new prescription drug benefit manager, OptumRx, will host campus office hours on Thursday, March 10, to answer individual questions from prescription plan participants. No appointment is needed: it’s first-come, first-served, at the times and locations listed below:

8:30-11:30 a.m., Skytop Office Building, Human Resources, Suite 101

Noon-3 p.m., 302 Schine Student Center

3:30-5 p.m., Newhouse 3, Time Warner Conference Room, (327)

OPTUMRx4cOptumRx became Syracuse University’s prescription drug benefit manager on Jan. 1, replacing Express Scripts. In December, OptumRx mailed a welcome kit to the home address of all SU prescription drug plan participants that included new member ID cards and information on how to use the Catamaran Home Delivery service.

If you can’t make it to the office hours on Thursday, OptumRx representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by phone at 866-854-2945. For answers to general questions about the prescription drug benefit, you may contact the Human Resources Service Center during regular business hours at 315-443-4042. Information is also available at the HR prescription drug benefit webpage, and at the OptumRx website.
