The College of Law’s Entertainment and Sports Law Society is hosting its second Entertainment and Sports Law Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dineen Hall. The event will feature three panel discussions and a keynote address from former Syracuse football All-American and NFL first round draft pick Tim Green ’86, L’94.
A number of lawyers, industry practitioners and professors will participate on the panels: Working as General & Outside Counsel in Sports, Current Issues in Entertainment & Media Law, and NCAA Controversies & the Future of College Athletics. Of the 10 panelists, six are Syracuse University alumni. The panels will be moderated by Buffalo News sports reporter Nick Veronica.
“Legal issues surrounding entertainment and sports law are complex and ever changing. With the symposium, we are bringing a wide variety of experts to campus to discuss key issues and provide valuable insight to students interested in this field,” says Daniel Greene L’16, president, Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
