Setnor Auditorium
The Opera Theater in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music will present Johann Strauss II’s operetta “Die Fledermaus” Jan. 29 and 30 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College.
Directed by Professor Eric Johnson, the performances of this most beloved stage work of Strauss, known as the “Waltz King,” will be fully staged in English with the Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Professor James Tapia. The all-student cast will feature many of the most promising talents from the Setnor School of Music.
Tickets for the general public are $10, available at the door and payable by cash only. Admission is free for Syracuse University students with a valid SU I.D.
