Patrick Penfield, professor of supply chain practice, has been appointed director of executive education for the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Most recently, he directed the executive education programs focused on supply chain management. He has more than 10 years of experience with non-degree and executive education programs. In his new role, he will solicit new executive education opportunities across all disciplines and will administer the programs, leading a team of faculty to teach the offerings.

Currently, the Whitman School offers a non-credit bearing executive certification in supply chain management on completion of any of the five courses taught, including “Introduction to Supply Chain,” “Six Sigma Black Belt,” “Supply Chain Systems,” “Project Management,” “Fundamentals of Sourcing” and “Lean Management and Lean Champion.” The courses are mostly taught online, but a few are also offered through multi-day sessions.
