Join us for the 4th Annual Literacy Corps Scrabble Tournament! The event will take place Thursday, March 27, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in 304ABC Schine Student Center. Participants can register by emailling literacy @syr.edu. The cost is $10 per person, or $30 for a team of up to four. Individuals will be grouped with others to form a team.
Our collaborative style of Scrabble challenges groups to work together to create the highest scoring Scrabble boards. Teams compete against each other to earn the highest score over three rounds. Highest scoring teams will win awards. Raffles include prizes such as gift baskets from local businesses. All proceeds from the Scrabble Tournament go to First Book, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new books to children in need.
