Vice Adm. Robert Murrett Talks about National Security at This Week’s IRP

The Feb. 20 session of the Institute for Retired People (IRP) will feature Vice Adm. Robert Murrett (ret.), deputy director of the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT) at Syracuse University.

Murrett, currently a professor of practice at SU’s Maxwell School and a member at the RAND Corporation and Institute for Defense Analyses, will give an informed assessment of national security issues in the year ahead.

IRP meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Syracuse, 5833 East Seneca Turnpike, Jamesville.  The meeting is open to anyone in the community who is retired or semi-retired.
