Geraldine de Berly of University College, along with Jeet Joshee, CSU Long Beach, and Cyrus Homanoupour, George Washington University, gave a talk titled “Slow Boat to China: Experience of Three American Universities in Building and Managing Partnerships” at the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2013 Conference and Exhibition, which took place March 11-14 in Hong Kong. In addition, de Berly and Binh Huynh, director of Summer College, represented Syracuse University at the Association for University Summer Sessions booth. While in Hong Kong, Binh Huynh also made numerous visits to private high schools promoting Syracuse programs.
