3rd Annual Scrabble Tournament

Thursday, January 24, 2013, By News Staff
Share

On Thursday, Feb. 28, the SU Literacy Corps will be hosting our 3rd Annual Scrabble Tournament! The event will be in Schine 304ABC from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and is $10/person or $30/team of four. The tournament has always been a blast and is a perfect excuse to get together with friends! It also can be a great way to team build within your office or organization in a fun event that helps the community!

There are countless prizes available for the winners, such as a salon gift package and restaurant gift cards worth up to $50 donated from area businesses! One hundred percent of the proceeds from the tournament will go toward the purchase of books for students in the Syracuse City School District through the national non-profit First Book. As First Book-Syracuse, the Literacy Corps has access to new books that we donate to students across the city annually.
