Syracuse University student entrepreneurs have been recognized for their innovation, passion, and drive to turn ideas into reality by many media outlets and organizations over the past five years. One more organization has been added to the list of those that believe SU students are unique entrepreneurs.
Daniel Cowen, a senior political science/policy studies major and founder of Know Your Neighbor, and Barnett Klane, a senior marketing major and founder of AmplifyU, have been accepted into the Kairos Society Fellowship. Cowen and Klane were chosen from thousands of student applications and proved to be among the most innovative student entrepreneurs.
The Kairos Society is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008 with a mission to tackle the world’s problems through entrepreneurship and innovation. To do this, Kairos works with top universities, mentors, and corporations around the world, and chooses student entrepreneur leaders to help them in their mission.
