We are conducting a research study at Syracuse University, in the Dept. of Communication Sciences & Disorders. The testing will be done at our lab, located in south campus at 621 Skytop Rd. The purpose of this study is to determine objective measures of the voice related to airflow and the recorded voice signal, and how those measures inter-relate. The study involves about 1 ½ to 2 hours of time, scheduled in one visit. We will use special equipment to record airflow and the voice as you speak. We are currently seeking people ages 18-45 years who do not have any voice problems. Monetary compensation will be provided to those participants who qualify and participate in the study, at $12/hour.
